Ravi Chawla has come full circle. Chawla set out to launch a jewellery store in 1990 but when things didn’t go as planned, he converted his gold designs into silver to establish Ravissant. “I’d even got Paul Binder, one of the best jewellery designers in Zurich but all things golden turned silver. And now I get to build the jewellery store again. That’s my passion,” he said as he unveiled the latest jewellery trends.

The store’s shelves are decorated with stylish pieces of jewellery encrusted with stones and diamonds. “These can be worn during the day to work. Just add another piece and you can set the evening on fire,” says Chawla. The pricing is steep. A ring can cost anything between Rs 30,000 and Rs 7 lakh; depending on how much you can loosen your purse strings by.
