A suicide car bomber struck in the Afghan capital Kabul on Sunday, killing at least two.
The car bomb exploded on a main road about 100 metres (yards) from a coalition military base used to train Afghan security forces.
Two separate police officials said it was a suicide attack.
The body of a civilian killed in the blast was lying on the blood-smeared tarmac amid shattered pieces of a vehicle that apparently contained the bomb.
