Sunil Dutt gives Sonia credit for Congress performance

"Everyone has put in their efforts to ensure my success", an elated Sunil Dutt, who trounced the Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam said.
Veteran Congress leader Sunil Dutt, who romped home victorious in north-west constituency, attributed the good performance of his party in the Lok Sabha polls to the party president, Sonia Gandhi.

"Everyone has put in their efforts to ensure my success", an elated Sunil Dutt, who trounced the Sena firebrand leader Sanjay Nirupam told a private channel, adding that the Congress performance in the polls was due to the leadership of Gandhi.
He also said that the polls were conducted peacefully and he was specially satisfied with the manner in which the police had ensured adequate security arrangements on the polling day.
"I am a man who is in favour of peace and one who detests any violence and communal riot. I am happy that the polling was also conducted in a peaceful manner in my constituency", he said.
He also took a dig at the exit polls, while expressing his satisfaction over the final results.
