The INLD list comes a day after the BJP sewed an electoral pact with the Haryana Janhit Congress.

Interacting with reporters here on Friday, Abhey Singh Chautala — son of former Haryana chief minister Om Prakash Chautala — and Ashok Arora, state president of the party, said lawyer RK Anand will contest from the Faridabad Lok Sabha seat where as Jashvinder Singh Sindhu has been nominated from Karnal, Dushyant Chautala from Hissar, former legislator Zakir Hussain from Gurgaon, Rao Bahadur Singh from Bhiwani-Mehandergarh, Charanjeet Singh from Sirsa, Balbir Saini from Kurukshetra, Padam Dahiya from Sonipat, Kusumbala Sherwal from Ambala and Shemsher Singh Kherkata from Rohtak.

Chautala said that the INLD has given representation to every section of the society, three tickets to Punjabi community, youth, women, minorities, Dalit and the weaker sections. He then appealed to the party workers to ensure victory of all the INLD candidates from all the ten parliamentary constituencies.

Anand’s nomination from the Faridabad Lok Sabha seat has spiced up the electoral battle, poll pundits believe. The Congress has already re-nominated sitting MP Avtar Singh Bhadana where as AAP has fielded Purshotam Dagar from Faridabad.

The BJP is likely to announce either a Gujjar or Jat candidate for this seat on Saturday.

Anand was hopeful of securing a major chunk of Punjabi and Jat votes.
