Surfer's poem: The victory
Success, sweet it is, oh! The ecstasy so profound, enveloped in contentment and bliss..., writes Aayushi Kishore. Your contributionUpdated: Jan 02, 2007 15:24 IST
Success, sweet it is,
Oh! The ecstasy so profound,
Enveloped in contentment and bliss,
At last! The perseverance was crowned.
So long did I
Drift with the order of defeat,
Wow! Left me transfixed,
As settled around the victorious sleet.
Transported into a world,
Of oblivion, in a gleeful trance,
Blessings and adulation unfurled,
As all admired my winning stance.
What an indelible mark,
It made, like a brushstroke of hue
On my life canvas surly and dark,
Where earlier only defeat lurked and tempests blew.
Yes God's been kind,
In solitude I ruminate,
Catalyzing my grind,
He showered his grace.
As my priorities carve
A separate niche,
After this momentous victory….
I pray for just one wish….
Evasion of strands of complacency.
Beyond this point, stretches an abyss,
The path gets more daunting….
Till I reach the ultimate apotheosis,
The struggle shall remain fatiguing.
