Surgeon NK Pandey wins BC Roy Award
The award, instituted to honour people for distinction in medicine, carries a silver plate, a citation and Rs one lakh.

Noted surgeon Dr NK Pandey has been awarded the prestigious Dr BC Roy Award for the year 2005.
Pandey is the executive director of Escorts Hospital and Research Centre, Faridabad.
The award carries a silver plate, a citation and Rs one lakh in cash. It was instituted by government to honour eminent people for achieving distinction in the medical field.
He is the President-elect of International College of Surgeons (Indian Section), secretary of Indian Chapter of American College Surgeons and governing council member of the Association of Surgeons of India.
