Siraj-ud-din was arrested by a joint party of police and 29 Rashtriya Rifles from his village at Andergam in Pattan area of Baramulla on Thursday, the spokesman said.

A Chinese pistol, one magazine, two Chinese grenades and 60 rounds of AK rifle were allegedly recovered from his possession, they said.

In a separate operation, the police and 44 Rashtriya Rifles arrested a supporter of Hizbul Mujahideen Manzoor Ahmad Mir from his house at Qasbiyar in Pulwama district.
