SVIM students visit Tata International

SHRI VAISHNAV Institute of Management (SVIM) organised an industrial visit to Tata International (Dewas) for students of MBA (FT) yesterday. Faculty members Vivek Sharma and Anshu Airen accompanied the students.

Faculty members Vivek Sharma and Anshu Airen accompanied the students. Leather garment business deputy general manager Sunil Acharya gave detailed information about the organisation and its working. The students visited manufacturing and production department where they saw the production of leather jackets and footwear.

Company human resource department chief Patro gave a brief presentation about the basic HR functions in an organisation. Institute director Major General (retired) Dr J R Bhatti and management department head Dr Rajendra Jain appreciated the efforts of the faculty to provide practical training to the students.
