The airline has decided to replace its decade old ten A 330-200 aircraft in its fleet with nine fuel-efficient brand new A330-300 aircraft by 2011 with an investment of over $1 billion (over Rs 4870 crore).

“This is a testimony of our commitment and loyalty to the Indian market. We firmly believe that this market has the potential to avail our premium product. Now we are flying five times a week each from Mumbai and Delhi. Our objective is to get back to seven flights a week,” said Holger Hatty, CCO, Swiss.
