Tandon takes on PWD minister

SENIOR BHARATIYA Janata Party leader Lalji Tandon today said party workers were being victimised at the behest of PWD Minister Shivpal Singh Yadav. Tandon said he would give a notice of breach of privilege against the district magistrate Rae Bareli in Vidhan Sabha.

Talking to media persons here, Tandon said Shivpal Singh Yadav had resorted to foul means to win the zila panchayat president’s elections. Those who did not vote for the Samajwadi Party candidates were now being victimised, said Tandon adding BJP MLA Badshah Singh was being implicated in false criminal cases. Cases had also been registered against Srikant Mishra and Ram Gopal in Rae Bareli, he said.

Referring to Rae Bareli DM, Tandon said his conduct had caused him serious concern and it was contempt of the Vidhan Sabha.
