Since most of my friends eat out every day or have cooks, there’s always a demand for Gujarati,

Two months ago, I had this sudden yearning for

Which festival do you associate with food?
Christmas. I went to a Catholic school and have lots of Christian friends so Christmas meant lovely plum cakes.
A dinner invitation you would never refuse?
My friend Jenny’s, both her parents are such great cooks. I went to her place a day after Christmas and she fed me yummy prawn biryani.
If you opened a specialty restaurant what would it serve?
It would serve everything that’s fattening and non-diet, from bhelpuri and pani puri to Nachos, Thai food and desserts.
