Tata Agrico ties with Godrej Agrovet

Under the tie-up, Tata Agrico would market products like shovels, crowbars, hammers and sickles through Godrej's 22 rural outlets -- Aadhar -- across the country.

The objective of the business venture was to reach out to the farmer community with its wide variety of products in rural areas, Tata Agrico said in a release on Friday.

The company would conduct demonstrations at Aadhar outlets for farmers and try to make products more user-friendly with their inputs.

Tata Agrico hoped to reach a larger rural market through Godrej Agrovet outlets.
