Ten killed in jeep-truck collision in Orissa

At least ten persons, including two women, were killed on Tuesday in a collision between a jeep and a truck in Bangiriposi area of Orissa's Mayurbhanj district, police said.

The jeep was carrying passengers from Baripada to a weekly market at Jharpokhria when the collision took place near Kumbharamundakata, 25 km from here on NH-5, they said.

All the ten occupants of the jeep including its driver died on the spot, police said adding the deceased were yet to be identified.
The bodies were brought out from the mangled jeep with the help of a gas cutter.
