At least five people were injured when terrorists hurled a grenade at a campaign vehicle of National Conference at Magermalbagh in uptown Srinagar on Thursday, official sources said.

Terrorists hurled a grenade at the vehicle which was campaigning for NC chief and candidate for Srinagar parliamentary constituency, Omar Abdullah, on the main road around 2 pm, the sources said.

The sources said the grenade missed the campaign vehicle and exploded injuring five persons and damaging the vehicle.

However, it was not immediately known whether any NC worker was among the injured.
