I never owned a Barbie doll, but always dreamt of having my own. By the time I could get one, I was over the Barbie stage.. but maybe I’ll get one now to celebrate her birthday.
What I liked most about her was that she was always ladylike and looked feminine and pretty. I’m glad she’s completed fifty.. maybe I should ask her the secret to staying in such great shape.

I don’t remember how old I was when I first was gifted a Barbie doll. I was very fascinated that she could have so many wardrobe changes. Barbie is the ultimate girl doll, though she sets very unrealistic standards. She has only one boyfriend and not a single grey. She’s the ultimate fantasy that can never be achieved.
