One of Jiggs Kalra’s many brainchildren, this restaurant has pioneered and perfected the art of serving kebab platters at fixed prices, successfully maintaining standards over the years even as the number of kebabs rotated on the menu has reached 120. The platter (vegetarian or non-vegetarian) comprises five kinds of kebabs that are repeated, breads, a biryani, a couple of dals and a choice of dessert served by an army of happy waiters wearing overalls. To get a bigger bang for your buck, go to either Noida or Punjabi Bagh, where the platters cost half of what they’re priced at Radisson – Rs 345-395 plus tax at Punjabi Bagh, Rs 399-445 plus tax at Noida, compared with Rs 650-750 plus tax at Radisson). Be prepared to wait for at least half-an-hour on weekends.
