Thirty-six gunshots reverberated in the air as his body was laid for funeral at the Jogeshwari crematorium.

Over 10,000 people, including politicians, industrialists, police officials, friends and relatives, gathered at Ahimsa building in Goregaon, the officer’s residence. His body was brought to his residence at 1 pm.
