England confirmed that their women's hockey team would be arriving on Monday, as would some members of their shooting team.

A number of other squads were expected early next week, after assurances that the OC would put them up in hotels if the Village wasn't ready. New Zealand and Canada maintained that living in hotels was not an option for their teams.
