“The competence of an artist depends upon performing any assignment of acting successfully. Good and bad is the individual perception,” she said. Actress Aysha Julkha taught her to perform successfully the director assigned, she added.
Talking to the Hindustan Times, Mandakini told that she was also performing the role of Chandramukhi in new Devdas based on Bhojpuri language. “I have performed with Ayashaji in the movie ‘Amma’”, she said.
Though, the beautiful budding item girl, awaits to get any major breakthrough in Bollywood, she gives credit to Aysha Julkha and her mother, Gauri Sharma for getting associated with Bollywood at a very tender age.
Mandakini, originally a resident of Golaganj area in Lucknow, underwent the practical training of Kathak under guidance of Guru Surendra Saikyaji while completing her MA in music from Lucknow. For the last few years, she shifted to Mumbai for a career in Bollywood.
