Three JIPMER students test positive for swine flu

Three medical students of the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) have tested positive for swine flu and were quarantined in the hospital ward, a senior doctor said on Sunday.

Three medical students of the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) have tested positive for swine flu and were quarantined in the hospital ward, a senior doctor said on Sunday.

Medical Superintendent of JIPMER A K Das told PTI that the students tested positive for the A(H1N1) virus on Saturday. He said that the students were hosteliers.

The students were showing signs of improvement,he added.
