Three killed by militants in Manipur
Three persons were shot dead by unidentified militants in Imphal east district of Manipur, official sources said.

Three persons were shot dead by unidentified militants in Imphal east district of Manipur early on Thursday, official sources said.
They said the militants brought three persons at Naharup Pangong area in the district and gunned them down from point blank range. The hands of two victims were tied by a cloth.
The motive behind the crime was not known but factional fight within the militant outfit appeared to be the cause of the incident, sources said.
The bodies, yet to be identified, were taken to Regional Institute of Medical Science and Hospital here for postmortem.
Over 260 people were so far killed in militancy-related crimes in Manipur this year.
