Three UP policemen suspended for laxity in duty

Three policemen have been suspended on charges of laxity in the kidnapping and murder case of a 12-year-old boy, officials said in Firozabad on Saturday.

Station Officer of Makkahnpur, Mahesh Chandra Gautam and two others, Sunhari Lal and Om Prakash, have been suspended on charges of laxity in the kidnapping and murder case of Akash, who went missing from Jijauli village in Makhhanpur area on March 2, by Superintendent of Police Manzil Saini.

The body of Akash, a student of inter college school at Rasoolpur, was recovered from the field last evening, they
added.
