1. Crystal
In 2004, Austria issued the world’s first crystal-coated stamps. The stamps, created by Swarovski crystal producers, cost 7.50 euros (Rs 442) and were produced in conjunction with the Austrian postal service.

2. Soccer ball
In March 2008, the Austrian post office issued a stamp made of the same material as the UEFA European Championship ball. The stamps, costing £3.75 (Rs 259), were made to promote the UEFA Euro 2008 championship.

3. Simpsons
The United States postal service started selling stamps featuring the Simpsons, the longest-running comedy in TV history, in May 2009. The stamps were sold for 44 cents (Rs 19.80) each.

4. Chocolate
For those with a sweet tooth, the stamps issued by Switzerland in 2001 are the one to interest you. These stamps come in three flavours —dark, milk and white chocolate—and cost $74.99
(Rs 3,374) each.

5. Coffee
This stamp issued by Brazil in 2001 is coated with varnish
containing microcapsules prepared from matured coffee beans. The aroma lasts for five years and the stamps cost $71.42 (Rs 3,213.90).
