Traffic police opt for ?Gandhigiri?

School students offered flowers to two-wheeler riders who were not wearing helmets. Many riders wearing helmets were also offered flowers for their adherence to rules.

According to an official press release issued on Friday, IG Sanjeev Kumar Singh inaugurated an exhibition of paintings regarding safe traffic near Retghat on Friday. He gave prizes to schoolchildren who drew the paintings.

School students associateCity students show little interestd with Kultara Shiksha Samiti also formed a human chain today. Traffic police and Department of Weights and Measures checked auto-rickshaws and action was taken against seven autos whose meters were tampered with. Vehicles with unauthorised Liquefied Petroleum Gas kit were also penalised.
