The list, released by TRS general secretary S Madhusudana Chari and MLA E Rajender, contained 15 names. The sub-regional party has not yet announced the candidates for the Lok Sabha seats.

The TRS has got 41 Assembly and nine Lok Sabha seats as part of the seat-sharing agreement with the TDP. Andhra Pradesh has a total of 294 Assembly and 42 Lok Sabha seats. Lok Sabha and Assembly polls are being held simultaneously in the state.

Rajender said backward classes had been given preference in the selection of candidates. Nominees for other seats would be named in a day or two, he said.
