The woman's husband had allegedly murdered assailants' son last year over an altercation of Rs 200.
The police arrested Siraj and his son Nadeem in the case. "The two have been arrested and have confessed that they had barged inside the victim's house and slashed the throats of the girls and their mother to avenge the murder of their son," SSP Raghubir Lal said.
A dispute over R200 has left five members of two families dead in the past five months. On the night of 8 January, five assailants had barged inside the house of Nawab Ahmed, a local transporter and killed his wife, Rukhsana (40) and daughters Shama (18), Aliya (16) and Amreen (1).
Ahmed was previously involved in murder of 18-year-old Mohammed Asif who had picked up an altercation with his brother Sonu over a loan of R200 in August last year.
