Two arrested under Excise Act, 100 cases of liquor recovered
Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested two persons under Excise Act with the recovery of 100 cases of illicit liquor from their possession. The arrested accused were identified as Deepak alias Sonu (23) resident of Ajit Nagar and Suraj (31) of Baldev Nagar, police sources said.

Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested two persons under Excise Act with the recovery of 100 cases of illicit liquor from their possession.
The arrested accused were identified as Deepak alias Sonu (23) resident of Ajit Nagar and Suraj (31) of Baldev Nagar, police sources said.
Acting on a tip off, a patrolling party intercepted a car and search of the vehicle led to the recovery of the illicit liquor and occupants of the car were arrested, sources added.
A case under Excise Act has been registered against the accused in the concerned police station, sources said.
