While Dhanda, Gloucester MP and Parliament Under Secretary of State for children, young people and families was given the 'Glory of India' award, Goel, a partner at leading Indian law firm Singhania and Co, was awarded the 'Certificate of Excellence' for this year.

Lord Bikhu Parekh, centennial Professor at the London School of Economics, presented the awards at the Crown Plaza on Sunday night in the presence of over 100 distinguished guests.

The India International Friendship Society, an NGO-registered in New Delhi which organised the award ceremony, said Goel was chosen for the award in view of his substantial contribution in promoting investment between UK and India.
