Two members of a family were killed when a truck hit their motorcycle in Hayatnagar police area, police said in Moradabad on Wednesday.
Ria Jaan and his cousin Jaan Mohammad were killed on the spot when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by the truck near Hayatnagar police station, they said.
Agitated with the incident, locals blocked the Sambhal-Bahjoi road. The blockade was later lifted on the assurance of senior police officers that the guilty will be nabbed soon.
