Two Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists were gunned down in a forest in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, an Army spokesperson said.

Atta Mohammad and Mukhtiar Ahmad, two terrorists responsible for several killings and bomb explosions in the region, were killed after a gunbattle in Gandoh in Jammu's Doda district during an early morning operation, the spokesperson added.
The battle lasted over an hour. Troops were working on specific information that the terrorists were hiding in a hut in the area.
Two AK-56 rifles and a huge quantity of arms and ammunition were recovered from them.
