The bodies of the slain militants, believed to be foreigners, were recovered this morning from a house in
Poshnad-Kreeri, 55 kms from here, where they were killed by the security forces, police said.

The encounter was initiated by the militants by opening fire at a search party of special operations group of local
police and troops of 29 Rashtriya Rifles last evening.

Police is ascertaining the identity and group affiliation of the slain militants.
