Om Parkash and his nephew Ganga Ram were probably stoned to death at Theog village near Shimla on Saturday night, investigating officer Khajana Ram told IANS on phone.

"Their bodies were recovered on Sunday morning under a pile of rocks in the wilderness. They were murdered with severe blows on the face," he said.

Police are yet to make any arrests and are still following several leads.

"We're making progress, and we will definitely bring the killers to book. It's yet to be established why they were murdered," the police official said.
