Pramod Pathak, an engineer, and his helper Hushiar Singh were in a drilling operation for the NHPC in Kishtwar district when they slipped into the Chenab River.

"Both are feared dead and efforts are on to recover the bodies," a police officer told IANS here.

Both Pathak and Singh belonged to Uttar Pradesh.
