Two men on a black Pulsar motorcycle snatched a bag containing cash from Gopal Das, a manager with the National Transport Company, outside the RDC branch of HDFC bank at about 2.30 p.m.

Das said that he and company accountant Mahendra Tiwari had withdrawn money from the bank and were leaving the branch when they were robbed.

At about 6 am, three men barged into a businessman's house in Shalimar Extension-I and stole cash and jewellery worth Rs 3 million at gun point. Only the businessman's wife and daughter-in-law were at home at the time of the robbery.

Police said the criminals escaped on two motorcycles.
