Rahul Dravid led the Indian team in sending across good wishes to their U-19 counterparts who would be playing in the final of the junior World Cup in Colombo on Sunday.

"On behalf of the Indian team I wish the under-19 team the very best in the final. I hope they will play good cricket and win the trophy," the Indian cricket captain said.

Lauding the Under-19 concept, Dravid said it had helped in developing quality junior players.

"A lot more junior cricket is being played now than in my days. The players get international exposure at a young age through the under 19 and India A tours. It goes a long way in their development," he said.
