EXPELLED BJP leader Uma Bharti today said she would concentrate on upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal in order to secure victory in the two states.
Bharti, who was here on the last leg of her ‘Janadesh Yatra’ in Madhya Pradesh, said she would seek people’s verdict along Saryu River on April 30. She said she would float a party only upon receiving order from public.
She will concentrate on Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal and New Delhi and her 90-day Janadesh Yatra will negotiate through the three states. Brushing aside reports of her re-entry into the BJP, the former chief minister described her meeting with former CM Kailash Joshi as a courtesy call.
On upcoming by-election to Budhni assembly constituency, the fiery sanyasin said she did not give much importance to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s victory or loss.
However, the BJP Government will get a fourth Chief Minister in event of Chouhan’s loss. This will lead to instability in the State, which she did not want to happen.
