Besides her photograph, Sanjay Parashar, a laboratory technician in the Seed Certification Department, worships Bharti’s slippers, which she wore during the last leg of her Ram Roti Yatra in Ayodhya.

Sanjay has also written ‘Uma Chalisa’. He is getting a temple of Bharti constructed at his native village, Bamhouri Nanhi Devari. The reason behind Sanjay’s devotion lies in the fact that Bharti had appointed 28,000 daily wage employees during her tenure.
