Unidentified gunmen shot militant leader in Manipur
A top leader of militant outfit KYKL-Military Defence Force, the Kanglei Yawol Kann Lup's breakaway faction, has been shot at by unidentified people in Manipur's Ukhrul district.

A top leader of militant outfit KYKL-Military Defence Force, the Kanglei Yawol Kann Lup's breakaway faction, has been shot at by unidentified people in Manipur's Ukhrul district.
According to police, KYKL-MDF commander-in-chief S Rishikanta was shot at on Tuesday by unidentified people at Latayang area in the district.
He was found lying in serious condition by villagers who rushed to a nearby jungle after hearing gunshots.
Some student leaders of the area then brought the ultra to Imphal and admitted him to a hospital, police said.
Rishikanta along with some cadets recently broke away from KYKL and formed KYKL-MDF recently.
