UPA Govt wins trust vote

After hectic parleys, behind-the-scene deals, saber rattling, chest thumping, horse trading and a very public though unparliamentary disclosure of bribery attempt the ruling UPA won the trust vote with a simple majority and three extra players chipping in their support. The final tally was 275 for and 256 against with 10 choosing to abstain. Securing a victory in the number game the UPA can go ahead with the nuclear deal, as it doesn't have to contend with constant threat of pullout by the Left parties.
