Uproarious scenes were witnessed in Lok Sabha on Friday over the US security personnel taking their sniffer dog at Rajghat.

The US security personnel took sniffer dog on the pathway around Mahatma Gandhi' Samadhi at Rajghat just before US President George W Bush's arrival on Thursday to pay his obeisance.

Waving a newspaper, Rajiv Ranjan Singh (JD-U) said, "the UPA government has lowered the national prestige and they should apologise to the nation."

He was supported by RJD's Ram Kirpal Yadav and members from the BSP.

Later the agitated members were pacified by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunsi.

BJP members, on the other hand, stalled the proceedings for a short while protesting against ignoring Madhya Pradesh in Railway Budget.

Shouting slogans against Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, the BJP members stormed the well soon after the House met.

Normalcy was restored soon, with Deputy Speaker Charanjit Singh Atwal going ahead with the Question Hour.
