UPRTOU to hold B Ed entrance test on Aug 20

THE UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) is going to conduct an entrance test for admission to the Bachelor of Education (B Ed) course on August 20.
Admission form for the entrance test would be issued from the main branch of Oriental Bank of Commerce in Agra, Azamgarh, Allahabad, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Bahraich, Basti, Faizabad, Jaunpur,Lucknow, Meerut, Jhansi, Bareilly, Moradabad, Varanasi, Noida and Amethi from June 10.
Vice-chancellor of the UPRTOU Prof Kedar Nath Singh Yadav released the admission booklet of B Ed entrance test today to be distributed by the Oriental Bank of Commerce from its main branch in the aforesaid cities.
The booklet also includes a copy of the authentic document from NCTE and UGC according recognition to the course.
According to the registrar Dr Ratnakar Shukla, the filled up forms could be submitted to the university in person or by registered/speed post by July 15.
The entrance test would be conducted on August 20 at Allahabad, Lucknow, Bareilly, Meerut, Gorakhpur and Varanasi centres. The result of the entrance test would be declared on August 26.
Counselling of the selected candidates would be held on September 10 at Allahabad.
Dr Shukla said at present there were 500 seats for the B Ed course run at the five study centres namely TD College, Jaunpur, RBS College, Agra Hindu College, Moradabad, VSSD College Kanpur and Deendayal Upadhayaya University, Gorakhpur each having 100 seats.
