Two-wheelers and cars, especially high-end vehicles, will now cost more in Haryana as the state government on Friday decided to hike road tax.

The registration of new vehicles is bound to get costlier in Haryana from April 1 as the state Cabinet approved the transport department’s proposal to revise the existing rates of road tax for vehicles used for personal use.
The new rates will be applicable from April 1.
