The case was an off-shoot of multi-crore rupee flood relief scam in Bihar.

According to the charges, Sadhu Yadav, abusing his official position, transferred the ownership of a vechile in his name in collusion with the officials of district transport office during 2004-2006.

As per the case, the vehicle was still in the name of another person under the Delhi motor vehicle licensing authorities.

Earlier, the court had issued proclamation notice against Mr Yadav, directing him to appear in the case, granting one month's time.

The special court had already rejected the anticipatory bail petition of Mr Yadav.

Another accused in the case, former DTO of Patna Brijraj Rai was arrested on September 5, 2006 and lodged in jail.
