Water supply to be hit today
WATER SUPPLY in many parts of old city would be affected on Friday following power disruption at Karbala Pump House. The power supply remained affected for about four hours at Karbala Pump House on Thursday.

According to information, the water supply would be affected in areas that are connected to the Idgah Filtration Plant. It would affect the water supply in the areas, including Idgah Hills, Prabhu Nagar, Sindhi Colony, Ahmedabad, Ram Nagar, Barela, Nevri, EME, Bagh Munshi Hussain Khan, Putlighar, Shahejahanabad, Baramahal, Ashok Nagar, Karbala, Gufa Mandir, Imami Gate and Noormahal Road.
The power supply to Karbala Pump House was affected from 3 pm to 4 pm, from 6 pm to 7 pm and from 8 pm. The power supply could not be restored till the filing of this report.
