We need an all-rounder like Kapil: Dravid

The Indian skipper says players are doing their best by chipping in with their might.

India is still in need of an all rounder of the calibre of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, Captain Rahul Dravid said on Thursday.

Talking to newspersons before the team's departure to Colombo to play the tri-series beginning on August 14, he was however quick to add that "it is not a big problem as we have competent all-rounders in Irfan Pathan, Dinesh Mongia and Virender Sehwag who are doing well both with the bat and the ball."

"We are trying to build an all rounder in the mould of Kapil Dev. But lack of one at present is felt as players are doing their best in chipping in with their might, say for example Harbhajan contributing in the lower order," he added.
