"Since yesterday (Friday), we have been getting these calls and messages from some unknown people who threaten to attack us and our office," Arvind Kejriwal told reporters here.

He said he has discussed the issue with other Team Anna members and they have decided not to "retaliate" if such attacks materialize.

"We believe that violence is not the solution. However, if some people feel that by attacking us they can solve the problems of corruption in the country, we shall offer ourselves to be beaten up by them," Kejriwal said.

He said that volunteers are now stationed outside Team Anna offices.

Kejriwal termed the threats as "part of a conspiracy" to derail the anti-corruption movement, coming three days after Bhushan was assaulted in his Supreme Court chamber in Delhi for his remarks on Kashmir.
