THE ZONAL police control room collects reports on the movement of Gadariya gang every day from the districts where it is operating. But the reports invariably fail to give any information on the gang.

Yesterday's report from Gwalior, Shivpuri, Guna, Morena, Bhind, Datia and Sheopur districts drew a blank on the Gadariya gang. This information was forwarded to the PHQ.

Four policemen collect information from districts on telephone, prepare the reports and send them to senior officers. The reports fail to provide any significant information, which proves that the police intelligence network is weak and they are unable to collect crucial information about the movement of the gang members, which could lead to the capture of dacoits.

Presently Jagjeevan Parihar gang is operating in Bhind, while Dheemar gang is operating in Datia and Gadariya gang is operating in Gwalior, Shivpuri and Seopur districts.
