Talking about the reason for her films being a low-key affair, she says, “It is always important to first finish the work and then enjoy the success. I don’t believe in talking too much beforehand.” That’s why she refrains from ‘unnecessary’ publicity. “One’s mind shifts to publicising instead of improving the quality of the work... and that’s dangerous for the project,” she says.

The movie features Zayed Khan, Rannvijay and model Tina Desai in lead roles. Ask her why she didn’t go in for big names and pat comes the reply, “It is not easy to make films with big names. They come with their own set of terms and conditions. My films are content driven, logical films...I feel content if I can make a film succeed without big names.”

Talking about the cast of her film, Savita says, “Zayed fits the bill. Viewers will discover a new Zayed in this film. Rannvijay, too, acted well and model Tina Desai was promising as a debutant.”
