Witherspoon to star in Rule 1

Oscar winning actress Reese Witherspoon is set to star in the movie Rule 1 after Terrel Seltzer sold her screenplay to Fox Searchlight.

Oscar winning actress Reese Witherspoon is set to star in the movie Rule 1 after Terrel Seltzer sold her screenplay to Fox Searchlight.

Hollywoodreporter.com reports that Brad Epstein will produce the film, which is about a woman who becomes a friend of a Puerto Rican girl with an attention deficit disorder. Seltzer had previously worked on the comedy How I Got Into Witherspoon recently featured in Four Christmases and also voiced the lead character in the animated movie Monsters Vs AliensCollege and One Fine Day.

She will next be seen in director James Brooks' movie scheduled for release next year.

Witherspoon had won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Walk The Line.
