The incident took place when 50-year-old Purnima Saxena (name changed), was taking a stroll near a farm in Tikli village.

Saxena, an Army officer’s wife, alleged, “Post lunch, I went for a stroll. When I was returning, a farmer started passing lewd comments. When I objected to this , he misbehaved with me. He was under the influence of liquor and also threatened to kill me,” she alleged. Saxena also alleged that the accused acted at the behest of one Rajender Singh, resident of the same village.

The police identified the tractor driver as Sher Singh. Both Rajender and Sher are at large.
